Caribbean Splash began as a Jamaican restaurant in Minneapolis, MN in 1998. All the recipes were created by the owners, Ben and Joan Coleman. Joan, a native of Kingston, Jamaica who grew up on Jamaican cuisine and of course learned how to cook each meal she ate and Ben, a retired professional basketball player in the USA and Europe who had travelled all over the world touring different kitchens learning different cuisines. At Caribbean Splash, the jerk chicken quickly became a staple so we decided to make it available to the public. Now you can make your favorite authentic jerk dishes in the comfort of your home.
